Howard Butcher Bloc...
I like - This would have been perfect for that person who had no space next to their bed and was looking for a lighting/bedside table solution.
I think I'd like this better with a different shade (something that flared out more maybe) and if it were height-adjustable. But clever concept.
This would be more functional if it had an adjustable neck so you can vary the height of the lamp. It being so close to the table surface makes it kind of useless.
Love the concept but also think that the shade is too close to the "table" surface for both functional and aesthetic reasons.
I think it makes the table part look like a tiny stage. All you'd need to complete the vignette would be a figurine of a stand-up comedian and a tiny microphone.
I love this for art display purposes!
I'm enjoying the image that Tobermory conjured up (hey, there could be a mini-magician on that platform, too!) but otherwise not enthusiastic about this lamp.
