When it comes to the art of organizing manly accessories, your choices are pretty limited. Truth be told, you need to design something that works for what you own so quite often purchased items leave you feeling a little lack luster. Sure rolling, tucking and stashing them out of the way or at the back of a drawer is nice, but why would you when you can diy this out in the open organization panel. Want to see what it's made from?
We stopped in over at Lookie What I Did
and caught up with Missy and her latest diy project. This simple system takes advantage of inexpensive hardware store items and puts it together in a way that's not only good for the items being stored, but will last a lifetime and always be able to expand or be changed up as items are purchased or donated.
The back of this unit is made from peg board. It's covered in fabric and then traditional hooks are added to hang individual ties from. There's also baskets for things like dress socks and odds and ends that might be needed and a long spot for belts. It's quite simple and could easily hang on the inside of a closet door, the inside wall of a closet, or even out in the open if your storage space is small. Ties and men's accessories are quite beautiful to look at, so why not present them in a pretty manner?
