Perhaps it was inspired by the wonderful Dangerous books? Whatever the case, we're really enjoying Scholastic's The Family Book: Amazing Things To Do Together.
The book presents, in a humorous way, over 100 "amazing" things to do with your family. It's chockfull of magic tricks, practical jokes (how to short sheet a bed), survival tips (how to find water in the desert), party games and a ton of other ideas and crafts.
While some of the ideas are brilliant, including several green ideas like composting, some of them are silly and meant in only in jest. After all, when will you be in a situation when you have to out run a charging elephant?
Have you read it? Do you think it's a yay or a nay?
