Explain how Amy Butler inspired this entry:
Color and purpose! Amy always creates things that are beautiful and functional and that's what I had in mind when I designed this baby bag for MY new little one. I just had a baby in April this year and while I was awaiting her arrival I made this along with a coordinating nursing cover. Full of FUNction, it works well and looks great - gives me great joy every time I use it!

How did you make your project and what items did you use?
With a smile I say...this was a rather lengthy project. I started by drawing out a pattern on the back of some gift wrap. And I continued to map out and design each step of the way not knowing what I would have until I finished it. I used a zipper for the top closure and a zipper on the back to hold my changing pad and diapers. I used a heavy fleece interfacing to give the entire bag some stability. It has two front pockets that have flaps with a ruffle accent. Two side pockets to hold bottles with another ruffle. A rear zippered pocket. And two interior slip pockets. Lots of organization. Nothing ever gets lost in here!
