Project: Maclaren Stroller "Butler" Style
Kristina's Maclaren stroller definitely stands out from the crowd with her Buttler-patterned cushions. What a great way to customize your stroller (or give new life to a second-hand one). See more below...

Explain how Amy Butler inspired this entry.:
Amy Butler's prints are very classic, yet the color ways complement modern styles. The Olive Acanthus is so feminine and sweet. The Sky Wall Flower is a little more neutral. These fabrics are wonderful for stylish babies and mom's, they are sweet without feeling babyish.

How did you make your project and what items did you use?:
The stroller liner is made with two pieces of Amy Butler fabric. One side is Sky Wall Flower, the other is Olive Acanthus. The Olive Acanthus was cut diagonally in order to center the white portion with the lines of the stroller's seat. Using the stroller seat as a pattern I made a pattern. I used a poly batting between the two fabrics to make it cozy, but still allow the stroller to fold easy. Sewn in pieces of grosgrain ribbon allow the top to attach to the back of the stroller to prevent the liner from slipping down. Fabrics were purchased from various eBay sellers.
