It's bright and cozy, in one of my favorite neighborhoods, and just big enough to entertain comfortably. It's in an historic building and has charming features—original hardwood floors, crown molding, and an old marble fireplace. It also has big windows and a sky light in the bathroom, so it lets in so much light during the day. Plus, we're two blocks from Central Park, and minutes from everywhere else in the city.
Three of My Best Tips and Tricks for Creating a Successful Small Space::
1. Edit. Only fill your tiny home with things you love. Space is limited, so if something doesn't make you happy when you see it, get rid of it. 2. Go up. If you have a high ceiling, use it. Stack and hang anything you can. This also draws attention to the height of your ceiling and makes your space feel bigger. 3. Don't let a small space discourage you from entertaining. You can create a great atmosphere in a cozy place to get people together and have fun.
