Name: Nick & Jessica
Location: Grand Lake — Oakland, California
My husband, Nick and I live in (and manage!) a gorgeous 1920's Spanish Revival Apartment building. We live in a large, airy one-bedroom unit. Most of the original architecture and fixtures remain in the building. We've worked over the past two years to create a beautiful and comfortable space.
Our style is shabby chic, with a modern twist. We have lots of repurposed and second-hand furniture, with a few new items and dark woods. With great views and a comfortable interior, our home would be a great place to tour!
Thanks Nick & Jessica!

Very cute!
Love your place. It is so welcoming. Sounds like a wonderful job and place to live.
Wow what a beautiful place.
This looks absolutely lovely. I demand a house tour. Demand!
So cute! Love it.
haha Nick and Jessica
Holy Spanish Rice, Batman!! This place is amazing!
I especially love the built in office space!
It's wonderful! Pretty please: what paint colors are those in the bedroom? The combination of the walls and trim is dreamy.
Pretty!
The office built in is magnificent!!! I loev all of the interesting things on the wall. A total inspiration!!!

Looks lovely. And super relaxing. Nice work!
The built in office is grand. I would also like to see more.
This is "magazinelike" and I don't mean this as a compliment. Sorry guys but there's not one single thing in your home that says who you are. Just a little above middle Of the road... And way...WAY behind COOL. Sugar sugar is what comes to mind. And all that SUGAR makes you fat. The one thing that is nice is the Architecture. Thank God you didn't butcher it. The look is worse than Ikea ( I love modern by the way). You're bordering on Buttery Swarm ....aka Pottery Barn. Blahhhhhhhh.
This is beautiful! I'd love to see a full house tour.
I like the subtlety of the Spanish details. It doesn't feel like a maximalist fake-out, which is always what I think of when I first hear the word "revival."
I love the photo of your office niche! Especially the subtle pops of green you've added. I never thought I would see an attractive display of diplomas, but you really tied in the mattes with the other greens. Well done!
@Sfagan64... So it's not your style? Then WHY comment at all? Talk about bringing around a cloud to rain on someone's parade. Dislike.
It's lovely. What a nice place to come home to.
Like it! Cool alcove area especially.
