One of my favorite things about looking at interiors is the glimpse it offers into the lives of creative and fascinating people. Lately I've discovered Freunde von Freunden, a website devoted to creative people and the places where they live and work. There are many beautiful spaces on the site, but one of my favorites is the Paris home of designer Céline Saby.
The Freunde von Freunden approach tells a story through pictures, following Céline through the streets of Paris to her cozy apartment in the 20th arrondissement, and then to her shop, the Atelier Beau Travail.
One of my favorite things about the homes on Freunde von Freunden is how refreshingly unstyled they are. Shoes on the floor, a pair of sunglasses on the table, stack of books — all of these things speak to a home that is truly lived in, but has a sort of unstudied loveliness. If only all my clutter looked this good!
