An Attic Studio Retreat

We all need a place in our homes to sit down and create, study, or work. All the better if that space is a little bit of an escape. That's exactly what we found in this attic, which functions as an art studio and project space for a work-from home artist and their son:

It's removed from the rest of the home by that narrow winding staircase shown up top. A ledge provides a perfect spot for displaying a box collection where it can be out in the open and enjoyed. And a well-used desk with a rustic old chair and supplies at reach is the destination (below).
