Perhaps Valentine's Day isn't your thing. Totally cool. Maybe Valentine's Day chocolate (and only the chocolate) is your thing. I so hear you. But if you're thinking of decorating your space for a romantic night in or looking for a fun activity for a Galentine's Day party, Helena's easy and adorable garland is a fast and fun way to get in the Valentine's Day spirit.
Skill Level: Easy
Time Required: 30 minutes to 1 hour depending on size of the garland
Project Cost: Cheap (cost depends on paper)
What You Need
- Needle and thread
- Take a dinner plate and center it on a sheet of paper - office size. I used A4. The plate should fall out on the longer sides. Take a pen and mark the two sides and cut off.
- Fold 1 centimeter at the bottom, at one of the longer sides, and the fold it again at the opposite way. Back and forth, like an accordion as we say in Sweden!
- Fold it all the way so it is like a folded paper stick. Bend in the middle and let the two sides meet. Glue together. And voila, a folded paper heart!
- To make a garland you pierce a needle and a thread in the two top folds. Make as long a garland as you like and have the energy for.
