This sweet treehouse looks deceptively simple. Clean lines and minimal space make it perfect for lots of pretend play, but it is also designed to serve as a shadow box when not in use. You can make it with a few simple supplies and some pieces from your backyard.

Jennifer from Ambrosia Creative designed this project for Hello Bee, using kraft boxes for the house spaces and the lids for the base. A foraged branch provides the miniature tree.

I love the fact that you can customize this design as much as you want; add a few more boxes and levels, or find a really gnarled tree branch to add some visual interest. Instead of paper leaves, you could add real leaves to bring even more of the outdoors in.
