I love this bathroom for many reasons: the vibrant wall color, the handpainted floor and, most of all, the mix of grownup and kid features.

This particular bathroom belongs to the children of Elizabeth Chapin and there isn't a ducky in sight. An original painting, antique-looking mirror and ceiling fixture, and a sophisticated shower curtain are paired with playful elements like the seagull hovering above the shower, a lime green Rody toy, and a collection of undersea animals stored above the tub.

The wooden step stools near the sink and the kid-height hangers make this bathroom more usable for younger kids, but otherwise these siblings won't outgrow this space until they're ready to leave home.

I highly recommend taking the full tour of this family home on Apartment Therapy. It's one of my absolute favorites.
