When we think of hemp fabric, we usually picture something coarse – great in the bathroom, perhaps, but not necessarily something you'd want in the bedroom. Then we came across this eco-friendly bedroom transformation from Nikki MacCallum (aka Nikki Designs) and fell in love. Incorporating a range of hemp-blend textiles, Nikki's bedroom is filled with understated luxury and calm.

We also enjoyed seeing how Nikki repurposed found objects like a mirror and tree branches. You might not be able to get the exact look of those, but you can purchase all of the bedding, pillows, and window coverings, which Nikki makes by hand and sells in her Etsy shop.
