Looks like this family has moved on up to the East
Village and into this deeee-luxe apartment in the sky. In fact, they've coupled two apartments into one duplex connected by this incredible half-tube slide. We've seen so many amazing indoor slides lately that they may be moving from 'awesome anomaly' territory to trendy
This 2,400 sq. ft. residential project (which also includes a terrace putting green) is the work of Turett Collaborative Architects
in New York. You can see more photos on Design-Milk
(worth the jump, we promise).
As evidence of this new architectural trend, I've rounded up more fantastic indoor slides we've shared in the past from serious, big bucks, architectural projects to one in a more modest, "normal" home to a very small one you can buy for your own living room (with admittedly less "wow" factor). You can find the links to these posts below each photo.
It's fun to fantasize about a slide at home, but right now I'd settle for some warm weather to enjoy some outdoor playground slides!
