In the ongoing effort to keep kids' stuff organized it is easy to focus on boxes and crates so much so that certain things become buried or forgotten. A big part of engaging kids in activities is keeping them fresh in their minds. This obviously presents something of a catch-22. But here is a solution for an art corner that keeps things visible, organized, and toddler-safe to boot.
There is a lot to admire about this activity center at Modern Parents Messy Kids. Using components from IKEA exclusively, Stephanie created this space for under $70. That includes the table and chairs! The magnetic white board serves as a perfect place for displaying artwork, and the magazine rack on the adjacent wall is a great place to store paper and coloring books.
Everything is intentionally placed out of the reach of toddler-aged siblings to keep things safe, a very thoughtful touch for households with multiple children. Nicely done!

White Enamel Flatwa...
I would have loved this. Actually, who am I kidding? I would love this now, but with a bigger chair.
great ideas! we too hide a lot of our things in bins (crayons, playdough, ect) I like the idea of having it on display in an organized way.
I like how everything is out visibly so the child can get to the tools, crafts easily. Helps the creative process then just display the art right there for all to view .
I have made bins from milk and bleach jugs.GO GREEN!
Cut away the plastic ..keep the bottom and handle intact.then thread the jugs onto the rod. Also, the big jugs can be cut for dust pans and scoops. The scoops are perfect for popcorn or other bulk serving
