Smart Space Planning: An Inspiring Attic Studio

Hemidemisemiquaver

When rooms are tucked up in attics, the sloped ceilings can make them feel cramped, low and limiting...which is the last way you want to feel in a creative space. This attic studio, however, takes the attic and makes it into something special. Over at the design blog Hemidemisemiquaver, Becky Oehlers has created a light, lofty, inspiring studio space in a room where sloping ceilings nearly touch the floor. Built-in shelves store supplies across the entire A-shaped wall, and the symmetrical layout of a work table centered on the gable window makes things feel orderly and architectural. Colors are kept light and bright with whites and pale blue.

Head on over to Hemidemisemiquaver to read more about the room.
