My son really wanted an orange room. I was not super enthusiastic with the idea but after all it's his room and I wanted him to be comfortable and happy in his room so I agreed. Instead of painting the room all orange which I think would have been too much, I put an orange border on white walls, painted the back of the closet orange and bought orange accessories (light, rugs, toy bins...)
The closet was completely empty and the doors were old wooden doors, we bought new white doors and put shelves and rods inside the closet.

With four kids, I don't have a lot of time for shopping so I like to shop online. I bought the ceiling lamp at The Land of Nod, the rug at nuLOOM and the toy bin, garland lights and bean bag at Hoopla Room.

Thanks, Adeline!
