When initially mapping out a life of full-time travel, my husband and I wanted to make sure that just because we're nomadic, we wouldn't miss out on life's big events. This past weekend, some dear friends of ours got married, so we hopped back to Chicago for a quick visit and to attend their wedding.
The Ivy Room at Tree Studios is tucked next to the historic Medinah Temple, which currently houses Bloomingdale's Home Store. This rare, private green space in the heart of Chicago was built at the turn of the 20th century to house artists' studios and shops, which it still does to this day. The main ballroom and courtyard is rented for events and weddings, so we were lucky enough to enjoy this exceptional space in its full glory.
