Sources
Kitchen chairs - Ikea, but I found them at a thrift store for $15 each.
Vintage stove - Craigslist
Barstools - found on side of the road. Made fabric covers for the seats.
Floor tiles - Linoleum City, LA.
Red chandelier - originally brass with plastic pieces hanging. From St. Vincent de Paul thrift shop, sprayed red, hung with handmade fabric garland.

Howard Butcher Bloc...
this looks really nice, the bright orange red colour against the dark purple door and deep wood colour is beautiful. how was this made? and if this is not hand made where is it from?
nice .
Crop out more of the focus object, next time. I can't tell what it is. Gum wrappers hanging from some sort of round clothes hanger?
@Tinyhands - Could you be a little nicer and less critical? Really, was your post necessary?
I like this kitchen. I want to get a warm wooden table similar to that! The orange chandelier is so pretty and I want to use the mirror idea. The kitchen looks warm and comfortable but completely fresh and non-boring. Its so cozy.
I think a kitchen should look like its apart of the house/apartment instead of looking like a cold 'kitchen'.
Oh - this was one of best AT house tours EVER.
Plus my favourite colour combo - purple and orange.
Is this REALLY about the chandelier? THEN WHY DID YOU CROP OUT HALF OF IT? Fabric garland? REALLY? Where? Can't see it. Did they decide to crop out this detail as well.
The photographs on AT are making me TEAR OUT MY HAIR. Recommendations for more design sites please. My patience is wearing thin.
Wow. Calm down dear, it's only a photo.
Is the other side of the door also purple? Because then it is awesome. Love the glittery stool. Very interesting chandelier.
I reallllly want to put white sticker dots over the screws on the square in the ceiling. Details I know, but it would drive me crazy.
