For my family an adventure at sea is a ride on the water taxi to lower Manhattan. For James Burwick, Somira Sao and their two children Tormentina (3) and Raivo (9 months) it's a three week voyage across the Atlantic. They left Portland, ME at the end of June and sailed into Cherbourg France a few days ago taking photos and videos all along the way.

They're still processing all of their images, but you can see some on their website Anasazi Racing which include some amazing sunsets at sea and as well as some up close encounters with dolphins. As you can see, the children wore safety harnesses above deck during the 21 day journey and did pretty normal kid stuff below deck like drawing, playing puzzles and even celebrating Tormentina's third birthday.

Before leaving Somira expressed the roller coaster of emotions: A wild mixture of emotions inside making my insides flip: excited, nervous, anxious...We get to give our kids the gift of experiencing power and peacefulness of the ocean.
