CNN anchor and talk show host Anderson Cooper is listing his Manhattan penthouse for $3.75 million. Close to Bryant Park & 5th Ave, the 3,100 square foot, 2 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom duplex subtly calls upon its "industrial roots" and features 1,700 square feet of outdoor space. Don't know if the realtor means the Chambord wood floors literally "warm the body", but they're gorgeous nonetheless.

Nomade Express Slee...
Yes. Literally warm the body - radiant heat.
ditto Susan - I was going to say the same... best modern luxury
Ehhhh, I didn't like Anderson Cooper's apartment. It doesn't look like anyone actually lives there and who could blame him? There's no view- of anything. Take the dining room, for example. There's no sense that it connects to the kitchen, which looks like it's strictly for the obsessively-compulsive neat Nazi cook. One almost expects to see a "Guests strictly verboten!" sign in the original German at the entrance. The dining table is teeeeeeny- tiny compared to the space it's in. Cooper's dinner parties are neither intimate or well attended. And though it faces a wall of windows, there's nothing to look at. Even the quality of the table looks a bit west elm-ikea from this distance. Not only that but it feels like it's missing something. Something green, perhaps? There's not a plant or anything green anywhere to tempt you inside or out. And I guess that is an apt metapor for this space- it looks like nothing is living here. If I were a realtor, I'd have a little talk with Cooper. His apartment is as colorless as he is. I couldn't imagine living here.
Nice foyer though. The bronze sculpture is beautiful.
