- this room is incredibly bright and airy thanks to some fantastic windows and prairie light. while i didn't want to mess with that kind of beauty, i certainly felt compelled to splash colour around. it all started when i recovered my grandmother's setees in teal velvet...

Kitty butt!!!!! :)
Nice room, but I don't see any particular colours that are the focus of the design. This doesn't seem appropriate for this contest.
Love the way you've used the paper white walls as a canvas for the splashes of color throughout. Makes the room come alive and teases your eyes to keep looking for the next treat. . EVEN (dare I say it?) the books *grin*
Never would I have the guts to mix so many dif colors in a combined space. Taking notes here as I salute you. Well done.
Love those teal chairs!
forgot to add: this post shoulda been named *Tales of Color*
handsome kitty & obviously spoiled
Love how your room, with its eclectic mix of beautiful pieces, is at once playful, confident and inspired. The saturated pops of happy colours are jelly beans in a candy dish. Love it!
Awesome decor! Charming and warm - the kind of space in which I would love to spend my days. Thanks for sharing your inspiration!
This room; it's not all about the paint color; which seems to be the R4C theme, but this room is put together far better than many other entries. Should re enter it again in Small Spaces 2013. Also deserves many more 'favorites'.
Love those chairs! Stunning.
This room feels fun, fresh and vibrant. Love the look!
Those teal chairs zomg
Love itttt! Totally my style.
What a gorgeous room! I want that orange clock!!!
