Anna Brockway of Chairish was one of our Pitch Presenters at our March Maker Talk (formerly know as Design Evenings). Anna founded Chairish when faced with the challenge of how to sell high quality furnishings that simply didn’t fit into her new place. She made a curated person-to-person marketplace where design lovers buy and sell exceptional pre-owned furnishings and decor. Click above for items available on Chairish and below for a video of Anna's story. Click here for upcoming Maker Talk details...

Pitch Presenter: Anna Brockway
Company: Chairish
Hometown: San Francisco

About: "Former VP of Worldwide Marketing at Levi Strauss & Co., a seasoned advertising account exec, and a sometime Today Show guest. She’s our final say on all things exceptional. With a discerning eye and a lively joie de vivre, this Columbia University art history major did serious time in the fashion advertising and publicity trenches. Then she got hitched, had 3 kids, and learned the cost, style, and green advantages to buying vintage. Anna conceived of Chairish as a way to make buying and selling fabulous, gently-used decor easier for everyone. Her current obsessions include Vladimir Kagan, spiky resin sea urchins, and America’s true gentleman, the Boston Terrier."

A special thanks to...
Our wine sponsor, Protea wines, who served their Chenin Blanc and a Red Blend. Bottles are designed by Mark Eisen and are the ultimate in green. Protea drinkers are encouraged to “upcycle” their bottle and reuse the bottle in their home for floral displays, as an olive oil pourer or as a chic candle holder. For more information, visit Protea.
