Componibili storage system was missing from the AT archives! Manufactured by
Kartell, the stackable system is great for storage. With small footprints, single units work well as bedside tables and endtables. Stacked, Componibili can transform an odd corner into a tower of storage...
There are lots of online
Kartell dealers. In addtion to
Highbrown Furniture, Componibili is available at
Unicahome and
Hive Modern. Some retailers carry them in 2007's limited edition RED!
i really like these. use them for bdside table.
i remember that one of my childhood friends had these in her bedroom when we were little... i had no idea they were high design!
They remind me too much of garbage cans. I tried to like them, I tried!
I use a basic componibili as a sofa-side table. love it. going to buy many more for storage soon.
I just bought the two up and three up limited edition Red Componibili units. I love them so much. I really want to go back and buy more!! Does anyone know how long these will be in production? It says limited edition, but not for how long. Apparently they're making black versions that will be available within a month or so as well. I would love it if they would make the red ones in the larger diameter version... there are some in that photo above, but according to my local Kartell store, they're not making them. Does anyone know anything about that? Seems odd that they have them in that photo, but you can't purchase them. One last question, is there a way to stack the units that are merged together? You can do it with the singular units, but I can't seem to do it with the ones that are merged together.
