We have been living in our home for almost a year! It is about 72 square meters as opposed to our 30 square meter flat that we lived in before (that was featured in your Small Cool Contest last year!)
I would say that our home is cozy and rustic. We decorate on a strict budget because we are hoping to soon be debt-free. Most all of our furniture is found on the streets, or in second hand shops. Hospitality is very important to us so it has been a wonderful thing to have more space to have dinner and overnight guests!
One challenge we have had is to fight the urge to fill every bit of available space. Having lived in such a tiny apartment before, we were accustomed to utilizing every square inch. Now, though we have space, we still have to remind ourselves that not every bit of space has to be occupied.
Thanks, Anna!

White Enamel Flatwa...
30 square meters = 333 square feet
72 square meters = 775 square feet
It's three feet to a meter, as a thumb rule. :)
I like the colours you chose very much and also the travelling-theme, but the clothes rail and the many small pictures in the kitchen disrupt the otherwise very clean atmosphere of your apartment.
The dining-table is adorable, where did you get it from?
I'm liking the globe, the bed pillows and kitchen counter; looks like a parquet version of the old butcher block laminate. Tape doughnuts on the back of the pictures would have been far better.
I like the tape.
If it is 775 square feet then it's like 175 square feet bigger than my place and then why does it looks so cramped...more than my place. Just me scratching my head. Great character and personalization!
I like it. I like the tape too, it's relaxed and cozy.
Thank you Benita,
We got the dining table as a hand me down from my in-laws.
Like I said most of our decor is second hand.
Thanks for the tips!
