IKEA has recently launched a limited-edition collection called Annorlunda (translated as different), composed of items sold only in the Belgian market at two store locations.

The inspiration for the pop-up line comes from IKEA designers' world travels and a desire to merge ethnic influences with European design sensibility. They created multi-functional objects in bright colors taken from India's natural and urban landscapes.
We'd like to encourage IKEA to bring these pieces to the US market, because they show a worldly depth and designer texture missed in many of their products.

Not fair..not fair..!!
It is also sold in The Netherlands in two stores: Haarlem and Amsterdam. I didn't find it very great...Lots of plastic and no useful products.
Not even that sexy bamboo-ish chair?
Why????? :(
I've seen some of these in Germany too...
Yes, this is a shame because I really like the looks of that blue chair.
ggrrr!!!!! is that a poolside changing tent i see?!?!?
The blue chair is exactly what I was planning on painting our old ratty 70s bamboo chairs from my husband's childhood. Nice to know I'm on track with cutting edge design, I guess?
What a tease. I want that chair.
I guess I'll have to jet over to Belgium.
boo.
Too bad. I like that chair a lot.
Yeah, the chair is a winner. I also sort of love the bright (what I'm assuming are) planters.
I like the chairs too. I was considering buying something like that anyway and spraypainting it myself, but I really like the shape and it might be nice to just buy it at ikea instead of having to find something suitable and then having to spraypaint it.
Is that a vase on top of the tray table? It looks like a bong.
