Our readers never fail to surprise us with good ideas and ingenuity! Many of you left Amber with helpful suggestions for ways to repurpose her crib bumper yesterday. It reminded us of an idea we saw on Super Natural Baby's site that we thought worth sharing.
Their bumpers are designed to tie together to form a play mat or sleep mat. We've seen a lot of bumpers that are too thick for this use, but it seems thinner ones from any company might be tied together in this way. What do you think - have you tried this?

this idea inspired me to make one of my own using a super-discounted bumper from target! so far, my toddler loves it! he thinks it is a fun portable bed.

Perfect timing! After reading the original post regarding the bumper, I decided to get creative and turn our old bumper into a cot cuddler for school. Apparently, I am not that creative.
