Have you jumped on the recent plastic animal bandwagon yet? It's easy to join in - just look at the bottom of your child's toy bins and you're sure to find some plastic toys that are makings of a good looking project.

The latest and greatest use we've seen for little plastic toys is this mirror by Christina Elaine. She gathered up a bunch of random toys, affixed them to the frame of a mirror, and then gave the whole thing a coat of glossy white paint. The result is fun and sophisticated at the same time.

White Enamel Flatwa...
I would have loved it minus the white paint - what is the point of doing all of that just to cover it? The colors would have been awesome to see!
i agree seventy7seconds. the underside of the toys showing the color is ocd triggering! but love the colors. isnt it great we can get insperation from ideas and adapt them to suit our styles!
I love this idea - not too fondof the dusting it would require though. Ooohhh the dusting!
This looks awesome. In white. Well done.
Cute idea! For a kid room, a bright color would be great too!
pretty fantastic
I have a feeling this is inspired by this artist's lamps: http://www.buzz-beast.com/2010/01/ryan-mcelhinney-toy-lamp.html
His lamps are very well executed and I rather like them. This, is not. It has the potential to look good, but... something about it doesn't. Maybe it's the arrangement or something.
Duuuuhhhh, I scrolled down on my own link and saw that he makes mirrors too, so it's totally inspired by Ryan McElhinney, and his look better because he has way more toys, which I think is the key to making this look good. Crowding the toys together, that is.
