If you've been following us, you know that we're excited about the trend toward grey in childrens' spaces. Check out this lovely dove grey and white pagoda design gracing this bedroom.
We found this over at Decor8. It's the work of Martensen Jones Interiors and what a beautiful impact the pattern makes on the wall. The dove grey works like a pastel, keeping things light and airy, yet sophisticated. The wall treatment can work for a young child, older child, or an adult.

Shaw's Original Fir...
As someone who formerly would NEVER have entertained the mere thought of putting dreary, boring grey on my walls (let alone my child's), I am so surprised by how much I am digging grey now!! I love this!
I like it, but I'm distracted by that strange dog/bunny in front of the window.
I absolutely love the wall treatment!
I like the room also, it feels like being on a cloud. But I agree with LovelyFrugalHermit. What is that thing? It looks like something from my nightmares!
A charming wall treatment.

I too am totally frightened by the giant dog with bunny ears. Yikes!
The dog/bunny thing looks like a statue of a wolfhound (like Boris from Lady and the Tramp!) with a white feather boa and bunny ears being stored on it.
I love this wall treatment. I want it in MY room, and I'm almost 30.
What IS that Hellish beast with the bunny ears!?!?!
yikes! that dog should have been stuffed in a closet for the photo! what does a kid even do with a toy like that?
but i love grey for a child's room! this is a very pink grey, if that makes sense - I'd love to paint MY bedroom with it. We painted our sons' room a slightly darker grey and they love it. Neutral colours in a child's room can be just as much fun as bright colours, with the right wall accessories and furnishings!
You guys are nutty, this room is GORGEOUS! best one i've seen in a while.
Lovely room. Terrifying dog bunny monster! Seriously!? Can you imagine what that thing looks like silhouetted against the window at night? Ack!
Nedra: Totally.
That dog in the rabbit ears and boa is far less frightening than many things I've seen at Bachelorette parties.
The room is gorgeous, has MANY years ahead as its lucky occupant grows, and is BEAUTIFULLY photographed.
....Patrick, what are you doing going to bachelorette parties?! ;)
Collecting dollar bills and squeals of delight!!!
The Dog-Bunny will be the Lilek's 'Interior Monstrosity' poster dog of the future.
The danger of the oversized "jack" terrifies me more than the weird dog. "It's all fun and games 'til someone puts out an eye." That thing could kill.
Forgive me for making an interior-design-ignorance question, but how is the imagery made? Is it a stencil? Stick-on? Stick on, paint over, remove? I'd love to do something akin to this but haven't the slightest idea how to begin...
I'm loving that shade of grey and would like to use it... What brand and color is it?
love everything about this room, except the crazy dog/bunny thing. it would terrify me in the middle of the night.
The creature is just a wee shorter than Donnie Darko. It's scary!
