Got some work to do? We have used Chelsea Fine Custom Kitchens for bigger, more complicated jobs, and they recommended Anthony Riccio to us for smaller jobs... or not so small.
Anthony and his crew can handle small renovations, kitchen and bathroom work, painting and floors. We have met him and recieved estimates from him, and we like him. He is smart, fair and pleasant to deal with.
He recently helped us renovate our apartment, and he gave us the impression of someone who is working hard to do a good job and move up in the city. Email: adconstr@aol.com. MGR

Anthony Riccio and AD Construction worked on my apartment for several months and did a great job. Anthony was completely available at all times, is a focused project leader, and was full of resources to refer me to. His team(s) work extremely hard, are very talented, and keep the work site as clean as possible. On top of all the great performance, Anthony became a friend and counselor during my renovations. I would encourage anyone to talk to Anthony about renovating their apartment. I will definitely be working with Anthony again.
Anthony & his partner Dmitri are spot on. I worked with them on a major renovation of half of my apt that turned out absolutely beautiful. I love it. Everyone on his team is courteous and exceptional at their craft. When you spend the few extra dollars for his services you really get top shelf quality, and solid and timely communication (absolutely no run-around). I'm definitely a hands on person and Anthony & Dmitri were amazing to plan things with especially regarding scope of the project. Without hesitation, I would recommend them to anyone looking for a contractor who is willing to pay a little more for a substantial upgrade in quality & service. You will be very happy.
I cannot recommend Anthony and his crew highly enough. We would definitely hire them again.
As a G.C., Anthony was totally accessible, always taking my calls and making sure that my wife and I felt totally comfortable. He was very patient with us and encouraged us to make our own decisions, never trying to railroad us. Finally, he was very honest and managed our expectations.
His crew was amazing. We had the same two workers the entire time (four weeks). They worked very fast and the quality of their workmanship was amazing. They were polite and courteous, cleaned up after themselves, and really seemed to care about making our apartment look beautiful.
The finished product speaks for itself. We couldn't be happier.
As mentioned above, A.D. isn't the cheapest, the extra amount took our renovation to another level.
Call them, you won't regret it.
Anthony and his contracting partner Dimitri did an fabulous, comprehensive renovation of our four bedroom, two bathroom apartment. He was always available to answer questions and offer advice on technical matters. He and Dimitri were frank, but gentle in suggesting alternative ways to achieve certain design ideas. They were very responsive to requests for correcting work that was not quite up to our standards. His men were polite craftmen who worked very hard to achieve the best result possible within a tight deadline.
We have heard so many complaints about contractors who did a lousy job, were unavailable, and walked away from half completed projects. We have only the highest compliments for Anthony and his men. We couldn't be happier with the results that they produced and would recommend them without hesitation.
I just started a kitchen renovation with Anthony this week (12/06), so far so good. Anthony has been totally available, very straight forward and very pleasant to deal with. I'll post the results when he is finished with the job.
Anthony and Dimitri finished my kitchen and hall renovation last week (on schedule!!), and it is spectacular. The workmanship is superb, every detail was carfully considered and they were totally respectful of the rooms that were not being renovated.
I cannot recommend them highly enough. It was a complete pleasure from start to finish. My only suggestion is to get in with them now....surely their schedules will be totally booked very soon.
Anthony and his company AD Construction are awesome! They have always met or exceeded our requirements for high quality work thus we have given them a ton of repeat business for our New York and Michigan residences. The first job they did was an emergency bathroom repair in our NY apartment. The walls were collapsing due to excess moisture and the room had to be gutted and completely renovated in two weeks because it was in our primary residence. Anthony was extremely helpful and even took me to tile and plumbing stores on the weekend to quickly select materials. And need I say it? They met the deadline and the room was spectacular. I could go on and on but I'll try to summarize. From then on, we went straight to Anthony for everything. His company renovated our kitchen as a surprise present for my husband while we were away for Christmas vacation and among other jobs totally remodeled two apartments that we had on the market. Last but certainly not least, Anthony flew to Michigan on multiple weekends to do general contracting for our nine bedroom lakeside home. Here he needed to quickly source local contractors and manage them mostly from a remote location. I don't know how he did it but somehow everything worked out perfectly from painting, cabinets and granite down to electrical upgrades and even included wiring for a computer network. I think you get the idea... Pictures are available
Anthony and his crew renovated my kitchen and did an excellent job with a very difficult installation (a small space packed with built-in appliances). He insists on doing a quality job, which in my case meant rebuilding all the kitchen walls and replacing much of the wiring--unexpected extra work he managed to fit into the schedule (and he didn't charge excessively for it). He listens well, and is always available. A great guy and I highly recommend him.
Ours is a 100 year old limestone house in Lefferts Manor, Brooklyn. Anthony was recommended by Park Slope Kitchen Gallery on Prospect Avenue; they recommend him to all their customers and we could see why. Anthony and Dmitri's team always showed up on time, were polite and professional, and did quality work. Our kitchen was particularly difficult because of badly-done plumbing by the previous owner, and because of sloping floors typical to old old houses. But these guys dealt with it all. We have a beautiful kitchen. On price, be prepared, good kitchen contractors are not cheap in NYC. We found Anthony's quote to be about the same as what we got from other contractors.
Anthony and AD Construction did a fantastic job on our kitchen renovation. As this was our first time working with a contractor, we were quite nervous but everything worked seamlessly with Anthony and his crew. Anthony is always accessible, great with resources, and very patient. His crew is professional as well, and careful about keeping the renovation (ie, supplies, dust, equipement) contained in the apartment. The finished kitchen is fantastic and surpasses our expectations. Thank you!
When we bought our first apartment in New York, we did not have any contacts to help us begin our remodel. We were referred to Anthony Riccio and his partner Dmitri Kallakin. We decided to contact Anthony to discuss our plans. We did an extensive remodel from floors, kitchen, bathroom, electrical, etc, and Anthony and his team did a fantastic job!! They were perfectionists every step of the way, and were always available to problem solve, make changes when necessary, and continued to help us after the remodel was complete when we had other things we decided to do. We highly recommed him and his team to anyone who is considering having work done, and would use him again in a heartbeat.
After three very bad experience with contractors, Anthony and his crew were like a lifesaver. They were extremely professional about the estimates on the job and realistic as well. I would recommend them to anyone.
I had a bad experience with Anthony Riccio. I would not recommend him. we were recommended to him by a friend and after 4 weeks of him telling us I'll start next week, he just stopped returning our phone calls. I think this is very unprofessional and he wasted over a month of our time.
I must disagree with the last comment. Anthony came highly reccomended to me through a Business Associate of mine. I had quite an extensive list of items that needed to be addressed in our new home, including a few major renovations. An initial meeting was scheduled, and met. Our ideas were discussed, as well as his opinions, decisions were made and the job was scheduled. It started on time, as promised, and the work was completed more than satisfactorily!
I was very happy with the quality and professionalism of Anthony and his staff. Needless to say he had a very diverse crew - I would highly reccomend this company to any and all of my business associates.
We were lucky enough to find Anthony and his crew for renovation of our union square loft. After a previous contractor had left us in the lurch, we called Anthony based on reviews from this website. He responded immediately, meeting us the next day to go over everything, presented us with a quote, and commenced work the next day. He and his team were very fast and communicative, tolerating a very pregnant woman's constant changes and requests. They delivered on everything they said, and everybody he put us in touch with-from the electrician to the plumber-were excellent and fairly priced. After all the work was done, one little thing needed tweaking, and Anthony came out and made sure the job was done and we were happy. Navigating New York construction can be a nightmare, with Anthony you are getting a great job for a fair price.
I would definitely appreciate anybody sending me pictures of the work that Anthony did for you. I am considering hiring him for a job. My email is: jschier@gmail.com. Thanks so much!
Anthony and his crew did an amazing job on a bathroom rennovation. He was extremely attentive to my job and always showed up when he promised. I have a second bathroom that needs to be done and I will use Anthony again without a moments hesitation
Anthony and his crew did a fantastic job refurbishing my commercial gallery space. I highly recommend his company and would definitely hire them again!
Job completed. We’re very happy with the results.
We worked with Quintessentials Kitchen and Bath (Upper West Side).
We especially appreciated their recommending Anthony Riccio and AD Custom Interiors as contractors for the job. They were “on time” and “on budget.” Their work was professional and high-quality. The guys Anthony used were skilled, courteous, and professional. They cleaned up the job site everyday, minimized disruption for us, and interacted professionally with the building superintendent and condo association management. Our neighbors were hardly aware that there was construction going on in our unit.
A renovation is never easy, but this job went very well.
We were refered to Anthony and Ad Custom Interiors to do tile flooring. Anthony was very personable, honest and professional in consulting with us about our needs, wants and concerns. We were very hesitant about doing the bathrooms because of building regulations, building codes etc. He hand walked us through the process, he refered us to quality suppliers of bathroom fixtures, kitchen cabinets, tile and wood flooring. He and his men have hands of gold. We were in awe of the quality of the bathroom work, from the plumbing to the "mud job" on the walls to the finished tile and oak doors. We love the work they have done for us and would highly, highly reccommend them. Anthony told us in the beginning if we trust him and listen to him the job will be better and faster. We did and he was so right. We cannot say enough about them.
Ed and Liz
Anthony and his team did renovation work to my kitchen and some other assorted tasks. His work was great and he was easy to get ahold of and very accessible. Throughout the project some of the tasks became more difficult and we added on some items as well and Anthony was great with everything that came his way. Even when the work was over we needed him for some other things once we moved in and he was always available. I would highly recommend him.
We've worked with many contractors in the past, and Anthony and his crew are far and away the very best.
He employs professional artisans who do their jobs extremely well -- and he is checking up on it regularly. Another thing we've noticed is that all his workers seem to really like and admire him -- as we do, of course.
He is now on his third job for us -- we wouldn't consider using anyone else for any work we need done, large or small. I have already recommended him to others and will continue to do so whenever I can.
We were very frustrated finding a contractor in Manhattan who was even interested in working on our little bathroom in our 600 square foot co-op unit. Everyone else we'd ever found was only interested in $50,000 jobs, barely spoke English, or never returned phone calls or e-mails.
We walked into a tile store in the neighborhood and asked them who they would use for a smaller job, and they pointed us to Anthony.
This worked out very well. He knows all the local bath/plumbing/tile vendors, who gave us discounts based on our relationship with Anthony. His boys tore out the previous bathroom and rebuilt it from the studs up. He estimated the job would take 10-13 working days, and I think it wound up taking exactly 13.
His guys followed all the co-op rules about construction. When their English skills fell short, Anthony was good about stepping in to translate and to make sure everyone understood everything.
Anthony isn't a big fan of paperwork. Our co-op had a lot of forms they needed filled out, and getting through them together, with all the back and forth, took months. But rather than throwing his hands up, he stuck with it. Everything got done with a handshake and a promise, rather than a detailed legal contract, which worried me at first. And there was never any detailing of material or labor costs or estimates - just an agreed big round number to get the job done. But it worked out great in the end, and finally we have a nice bathroom!
Next, we have to figure out when we are ready for his team to attack our kitchen.
Anthony Riccio had an opportunity to overcharge me and he did, by at least double (I let him know that no one called me back for this very small job-3 ft by 10 ft-and I'd be willing to pay for his trouble). Furthermore, he promised a level of skill with mosaic tiles that his worker did not possess. In fact, his worker had never done work with glass tile before and complained to me bitterly about it. The job took 6 hours and he charged $1,500. And in charging that much he wanted me to get the adhesive and the grout. Ironically, just before he arrived another very reliable contractor called back with the real price ($400), but it was already too late, I didn't want to screw the worker.
I advise you to negotiate on price if working with Anthony.
can anyone recommend contractors who have license, insurance, and lead paint certification? my building requires all three to do any kind of work. in my case, i'm not doing anything fancy but i don't have a choice.
please email to j760812@gmail.com
I have used Anthony Riccio and his team on two separate occassions with VERY positive results.
First, he completed a gut renovation of our bathroom: floor to ceiling tile, raising the ceiling from 9ft to 12 ft, and installing all bathroom fixtures and plumbing. His guys were courteous and respectful, and they did an amazing job. Excellent craftsmanship with the tile. A all around.
Second, I called him 3 yrs later to renovate our kitchen soup to nuts: tile floor, backsplash, cabinet installation with underlighting plus installation of all appliances (dishwasher, convection oven/microwave with new vent, refrigerator/freezer with water dispenser). Once again, top quality job.
Anthony is a straight-shooter. I trust him all the way. He tells you if it will cost more to do things the "right" way. He does high-quality work, so he charges fairly for the work he does. Plus, he is a great guy. I have referred him to three other people and everyone is happy with his work. I highly recommend Anthony.
Anthony Riccio is a wonderful contractor and a good person. It is nice in today's world to be able to trust the person coming into your home. Knowing that you can trust Anthony to work with you to your satisfaction on any reconstruction in your home is always comforting. Anthony will never let you down and will always follow up on anything that needs follow up, no matter when it is. For us, as art dealers going back five generations to 1863, we value our relationship with Anthony. If you ever have any questions please contact us at arnotart@aol.com or through our website at www.arnotart.com . We would be happy to share our wonderful experiences with Anthony with you!
I am currently close to the end of my complete bathroom renovation for which I used Anthony Riccio and his team and I can say that it has been a wonderful experience; the bathroom was a gut renovation of my prewar West Village bathroom and I now have beautiful floor to ceiling tile, dropped ceiling with recessed lighting, and fantastic fixtures, as suggested by Anthony. There were some plumbing issues related to the age of the building but Anthony and his crew handled it all beautifully and got raves from the building's crew and manager. The tile was purchased from Bella tile at Anthony's suggestion, and they could not have been nicer to work with. In addition, Anthony put me in touch with Melissa at Smolka plumbing supply. Melissa helped me with the fixture selection, got me a really good price on everything and it was all ordered and ready to go when she promised it would be. I was going to stop with the bathroom but found that I really trust and like Anthony and his crew, so they are now completing skim coating and painting, and referred me to a flooring refinisher who will start on Tuesday. I will definitely report back once that is done, but I know that it will be great because everything that Anthony has suggested so far has worked out. I found him to be totally accessible, he calls back and shows up when he says he will, and his fees are fair and reasonable given the high quality work.
Anthony is honest and tells it like it is. I know I already said it but I trust him all the way. I can't stop thinking of Murphy Brown (the late 1980's sit com) and Eldin her painter who never left; I don't want Anthony and his crew to leave, they are that good. HIGHLY RECOMMEND !!! I will update you on the floors once they are done.
The floors are done and they are beautiful. Vince Clementi of Clementi's Custom Wood Floors did a great job repairing the defects from an old radiator I had removed and a few holes from an old Murphy Bed. He then did a custom stain that is light and warm, and different from everyone else's. He came when he said he would and was done when promised. On top of that he is a really nice guy.
In 2003 Anthony Riccio meticulously managed the renovation of my bathroom in a New York City apartment building that is 100 years old. The room was gutted down to the original brickwork and Anthony's finished product was show room display quality. I could have not been more satisfied with his attention to detail, the skill, dedication and reliability of his talented work crew (they did not miss a day of work), the experience and knowledge of both Anthony and Dmitri (his partner) in their expert planning and recommending additions to the bathroom that I was not familiar with and that enhanced both the appearance and utility of the room. As a postscript, in April, 2008, my bathroom had extensive water damage due to a broken water pipe in the building and Anthony was able to restore the room to its original pristine condition. I highly recommend Anthony Riccio as a Contractor who knows how to get the job done seamlessly and expertly and who will consistently produce a premium product.
Anthony and his team of very talented workmen just finished a renovation project of my kitchen.
I live in a building that is well over one hundred years old and i was very apprehensive about the stability of the existing walls. Anthony took the time to not only consult with me on this project but to make very smart recommendations as to the best appliances as well as cabinet makers to fit my budget.
His expert guidance made the project proceed without any complications.
Through the entire process Anthony was always responsive to any question or concern I had and was always ready to take my calls or answer my emails at any time during the day.
He and his team started and completed the total job in just under three weeks with no unforeseen costs.
I could not be happier with the work he did or the final outcome.
I would recommend him to anyone looking for a responsible talented contractor for any size job.
I am planning to make some much needed upgrades to my bathroom and I will definitely call Anthony.
for those of you who have used anthony or know other good NY contractors, we're looking for 100% legit reviews of local contractors at goodpeopleguide.com. so if you could post something on these guys that would be great. thanks!
Well my project is almost done and it is fabulous; I hope that in a few weeks I can post some photos of the work that Anthony and his team did in my apartment. From start to finish the work was professional and beautifully done.
Can anyone tell me the name of this company and the mailing address? Please email me at dyermkrrs_girl@yahoo.com.
Anthony and his team just finished renovating my apartment, and I can say, without reservation, that the results are outstanding. Anthony renovated my kitchen, 2 full baths, and constructed two closets all within the allotted time and within budget. The craftsmanship is impeccable and the quality of work is top-notch.
Anthony’s crew is extremely courteous. They treated my apartment and building common areas with respect and care. In fact, Anthony’s workers would wipe the soles of their shoes with a damp sponge so they won’t track dust into the hallway (I was amazed).
Anthony & his crew are real professionals and their work is incredible. If you are looking for an outstanding contractor… go with Anthony… He’s the best.
We hired Anthony to do a gut renovation on our bathroom. He performed similar jobs for two different neighbors in our pre-war Co-op, and was recommended by our super when we asked who, in his opinion, had the best workmanship in the renovations in our building. Upon inspection of our bathroom, Anthony gave us an estimate on the price and time-frame, and walked us through each step. His crew worked diligently every day, carefully moving kitchen furniture in order to make room for their tools and the new sink, tub, etc. They were careful not to spread any dust or dirt throughout the apartment. The bulk of the work was completed within the four-week time-frame, although a final touch-up on a custom hamper took another couple of weeks. Though his price was higher than others, the work is clearly superior. After the job was done, we had “show and tell” with an upstairs neighbor had just completed a kitchen/bath renovation of her apartment. I incredulously asked why her toilet paper dispenser was placed on the opposite wall, facing the toilet. Her response was her contracted did it without asking her. That would never happen with Anthony.
Anthony was hired to renovate my bathroom in the city. He provided top of the line service and could always be reached, whether it be by phone, email or text message. I appreciate the time and effort that was put into the bathroom by his men. The detailed labor skills speak for themselves. I now have a fully functional bathroom which has transformed the energy of my home, and is also gorgeous. Thanks Anthony.
I hired Anthony and his team, earliar this year, to renovate my one and a half bathrooms. He and his team provided an amazing and extremely professional service and could always be reached, whether it be by phone, or email. This was in complete contrast to what I went through with the kitchen renovation with a different contractor, who also helped to design the new kitchen. With Anthony, I was able to make some design alternations, particularly to try and ensure that the all the new fixtures were all coordinated.
I really appreciate the time and effort and skilled labour that were put into the bathroom and powder room by Anthony, Dimitri and the rest of the team. They also took care of my apartment and the building common areas, even my super Adem was impressed. The results in terms of the apartment are quite spectacular and have helped to transform the apartment as a whole.
I hired Anthony and Dmitri to gut renovate my bathroom after reading the comments on this website. I am so glad that I did. Since I know absolutely nothing about plumbing or renovations, it was important to me to find a contractor I could trust to make decisions and charge a fair price. Anthony is absolutely trustworthy and did a fantastic job. His partner Dmitri was also great. They are "old school" - they do good, honest work for a reasonable cost. I will definitely hire them again for any future renovations!
Anthony Riccio and his partner Dmitri Kaliakin together with their excellent team just completed an outstanding gut renovation of my pre-war West Village bathroom. It was a not an easy renovation due to the age of the building. However, Anthony and his team were able to resolve quickly and beautifully all the challenges presented and got high praise from the building's super as well. This was a wonderful remodeling experience from start to finish!
Roman and Pasha Khanzin were the two superb workers who renovated the bathroom.. They were unfailingly polite, quiet, extremely professional, attentive to detail, friendly and honest. They are both perfectionist in the best sense of the word. Both Roman and Pasha were totally dedicated to doing the best job possible - and nothing less. They love what they do and you can tell from the quality of their work. The tiles I picked were quiet hard to cut but Roman did an absolutely perfect job!!! Roman can do anything to perfection! They were also very accommodating and willing to explain the process whenever I had any questions. They made a big effort to leave the apartment tidy at the end of the day and made every attempt to keep disruption to a minimum. They also followed to the book all the co-op rules. By the end of the project, I was ready to let them start another one, that’s how much I liked them.
The renovation included a dropped ceiling, recessed lighting, installation of a new window, new door, recessed medicine cabinet and a six-shelf wood cabinet besides all the plumbing work and installation of a new tub.
At Anthony’s suggestions, I worked with Bella Tile and with Smolka. I bought the most beautiful Italian tiles which arrived promptly. Bella Tile has a wide range of choices and the people working there are very helpful and nice. Suzette at Smolka, on the other hand, gave me the best prices (compared to other bathroom suppliers) and she was such a pleasure to work with!!! She is so cordial, always happy and willing to help you.
Anthony was always contactable to discuss progress, easy to work with, dependable either at the apartment or on the phone, and there were no hidden costs or surprises at the end. The estimate I was given was fair and explained all the work to be done, the supplies necessary, and the approximate timeframe for the construction to be completed. He was also very helpful in giving suggestions as to what type of materials to buy. Anthony is one of the most delightful and honest people I have ever met in this business!!! Dmitri was an excellent supervisor and, if any material was missing from the job site, he would promptly get it within few hours. He was also amazingly accommodating and extremely professional.
I am ecstatic about the fantastic quality of the work!!! In the past I have used four different contractors for various projects in my apartment and for my business. I have always been so disappointed. I am Italian from Milan and I am used to the highest quality of materials and craftsmanship and I honestly have to say that Anthony and his crew are the best I have ever worked with. They can actually be successful in Italy as well. From now on, I will always work with them and I will always highly recommend them to anyone who is looking to do a small or a big job!! Anthony and his crew can handle it all… and to perfection.
PS You can contact me at elettra@aol.com if you want to see before and after photos.
On Jan 18th 2008, I posted about the job Anthony and his crew did with our bathroom -- now here I am two years later to post good things about the job they did when we invited them back to do our kitchen for the last three weeks.
Anthony pointed us to the right suppliers who were able to get us good materials and appliances for prices significantly lower than you see at places like P.C. Richard. He estimated a 2-3 week work period, and it took exactly 15 working days. The workers showed up on time every morning and worked very diligently -- not a lot of sitting around!
As noted before, Anthony doesn't do a lot of tedious dollar-by-dollar accounting; it's more like a 'big number estimate' and a handshake. But the team really invests in the final product and the labor costs seem reasonable, although we didn't do a lot of shopping around this time around as Anthony was a known quantity and we wanted him back.
The bathroom they did two years ago needed a minor plumbing patch-up, and they had no problem taking a little time to re-do that work. They were very trustworthy and we had no problem letting them let themselves in and out of our place unsupervised. Anthony came in to help them solve awkward problems and to help with communication with the various suppliers.
We've used him twice now and when we move to our next home it'll probably be three.
It is easy to nitpick if a renovation goes perfectly but the test of a great contractor is when the unexpected arises. I hired Anthony and A&D Construction to carry out a bathroom renovation in Dec 2009 in a prewar building with original plumbing and tile work. From the start Anthony was a straight shooter - helping obtain materials, advising on the process and what to expect. I was extremely impressed with the care the team took to protect my apartment and protect sections from dust and debris from the renovation.
What was the unexpected? After the tub was picked up in order to lay new tile it was found that all the plumbing and waste lines needed to be replaced. How? A worker standing at the drain of the bathtub put his foot right through the floor creating a hole a foot and a half in diameter! I could see right into the downstairs neighbors bathroom! Apparently there had been an old repair to the plumbing and the ceiling had been shoddily patched! Shameful to say but I panic (hopefully just inside)! I am a new member of my board and suddenly I have just caused massive damage to my building!
Anthony could not have been more perfect in this situation. He was completely professional and calm - he talked me through what the next steps were, what repairs needed to be made and expertly liased with the building manager and super. In addition, the hole resulted in he and his team inspecting the downstairs bathroom - where they found evidence of active leaks! They then examined the waste lines in my bathroom and found holes the size of my fist! Anthony had warned me this could be the case and indeed the worst possible situation was true.
Anthony and his team replaced all of the plumbing in the bathroom and the hole in the ceiling quickly and efficiently. Anthony documented the initial damage and repairs and kept me up to date at an almost hourly rate through the entire process.
It was at this time that I knew I had made the right decision in selecting Anthony and AD Construction (actually I was actively thanking whatever forces may be). Now that the bathroom is finished I am still convinced of that. The tile work is absolutely beautiful, everything works wonderfully and I have the comfort of knowing all new plumbing is installed and there is no chance my pipes can cause damage to the building.
In addition, Anthony has become a trusted resource for all things building related. I am happy to help him anytime (in fact I already enthusiastically agreed to him bringing over new clients to see our bathroom - which of course they loved).
I cannot recommend him highly enough - a great guy who believes in doing a great job and is an honest and good person. When you invite someone to do work in your home sentiment makes you take any transgression that much more personally. Anthony takes no liberties, no shortcuts, makes no trespasses. I would happily hire him again for any other work I would have done in my apartment. And please take this advice, if you are in a prewar building and you do not know when your plumbing was replaced - replace all of it!
Anthony and Dimitri and crew did an excellent job on an apt. renovation. on time ... on budget... careful construction ... easy to contact. We recommend them highly.
Anthony Riccio is amazing........an anomale! Most people tell you nightmare stories about their contractors--NOT Anthony. He renovated my apartment--his team showed up every day--honest, organized, efficient. Anthony offered great ideas....is always honest....need i say more?! AD Construction is a stellar team!
Anthony Riccio, his partner Dimitri and the craftsmen of AD Construction recently completed my kitchen renovation and I'm completely satisfied with the results. The workmen responsible for constructing and installing all plumbing and electrical, appliances, cabinetry, floor and wall tiles were absolutely first rate. Rarely does one find this kind of dedication to quality and professionalism. They arrived for work every day, no mysterious absences, and after a pause for custom work by a subcontractor to be finally completed, they promptly returned and finished the job. Anthony was accessible by phone and Blackberry throughout. I really appreciate their hard work on my behalf, their fair pricing, and kindness throughout.
We hired Anthony Riccio and the A.D. Construction crew to do a total renovation of our NYC apartment. The apartment was totally gutted and transformed into a wonderful, like new apartment. It was a job very well done and handled from start to finish with skill and professionalism. I highly recommend A.D. Construction as we are thrilled with the final results!
I had my kitchen and bathroom recently renovated in my coop apartment by Anthony Riccio and his crew. I am thrilled at how beautiful it looks. Anthony kept me informed about every detail, issue, potential problem and solution in a calm and professional way.
He and his workers were very responsive to requests for correcting work that was not quite up to my standards. He has a can do attitude and puts the client at ease. He was always available by phone, email or text. He followed up on every detail and has a lot of passion for what he does. His team of Teddy and Bobby were great. They were on the job for the entire 8 weeks it took. Their workmanship was amazing.
I would highly recommend him and AD Custom Interiors. He has a lot of experience and knowledge about what it takes to do the job right. It is truly professional workmanship.
Everyone that comes by to see the renovated place is blown away, and says how lucky I am to have found someone who could do such a great job. I would definitely use him again.
I had a very positive experience hiring Anthony and his worker Rob to tile an upstairs bathroom. First Rob corrected the work of a bad tiler I had fired, then he did a new intricate mosaic design I had wanted on the bathroom floor. It was with small hexagon tiles that I wanted to look like an original historic pattern. Rob was a perfectionist. If any small pieces had slightly moved while setting he removed them and set them again. It is now a year later and the floor looks great. None of the little tiles have moved or come up. People always comment on it. Anthony's price was very reasonable. They took time and care to do the job properly. I wish I had hired him in the first place. I will be hiring them again for the downstairs bathroom.
I hired A.D. Custom Interiors on the recommendation of the kitchen and bath supply company where I bought my fixtures for my bathroom renovation. The owner said Anthony was "the best!". I was extremely satisfied with the workers that came to my apartment, the quality of the work they did and the timeliness in which they completed the project. Anthony was quite helpful in getting the Co-op paperwork done, made sure everything started exactly on time, checked in and met with me regularly during the project and afterwards as well. His partner, Dmitri, was there everyday checking on the workers and also checking in with me. Dmitri had several excellent suggestions on solutions to the inevitable unexpected problems that arise in a total renovation of a bathroom, which this was. The workers came on time, worked hard, were honest, went the extra mile and took great pains to make sure their work was done well and that I was pleased. In the end, the finished job looked excellent - the craftsmanship of the floor and wall tiles, and the installation of every fixture were beyond compare. Anthony went so far as to recommend a clean-up crew to help get my apartment back to being clean after the construction was done - they too did a top notch job. All in all, it was a pleasure working with Anthony and Dmitri. Real professionals! I recommend them highly.
Anthony and his team did meticulous and precise work on the renovation of our bathroom. He always took the time to meet with us (even at the most inconvenient times) and explained everything to us step by step. He is not one to cut corners or to do a job in a hurry just to get it done. I would highly recommend him to anyone and I will be sure to use him again in the future. We are very happy with his work.
We hired Anthony Riccio to renovate our bathroom in our UES apt.. This included demolishing the tub & replacing same with a stall shower which is not easy. Our Board was on his back as this must be done adhering to certain specs. His workers were caring, polite & clean. We absolutely reccommend him
We highly recommend Anthony Riccio and his crew. They just completed our co-op kitchen on the UES. Anthony & Dimitri have a great team. Roman, Dimitri (there are three) and Stan did beautiful, careful, meticulous work. They're true craftsmen. And experienced. They were courteous to us and the building staff. We're really amazed at how smoothly everything went. We would absolutely use them again.
