When we spotted these incredible looking Italian chaises today on Popgadget, we immediately wanted to know how it would feel. Would the Antibodi's "petal" fabric sections elicit a massaging quality? Would it feel like you're laying on top of a heap of bunchy material that you can't quite comfortably navigate?

We're putting our faith in the designer, Patricia Urquiola, and her choice of our favorite materials: felt, wool and leather, and trusting that the words "chaise" and "comfort" continue to be synonymous.

Because the covers are reversible, a smoother, more quilted surface can be acquired if the open fabric petals become too much to handle. Popgadget likens the chaises to origami, and although felt, leather, and wool are far from delicate materials, the triangular patchwork design brings out the delicate nature of origami creations. The stainless steel bases mimic the same delicately contoured shapes of the fabric, but again, say steel and we know it's strong.
