Workin' on your Fitness. This isn't something we've talked about before, but that is probably because home exercising equipment is usually something we want to hide (or avoid altogether). We've learned through Wallpaper magazine that Antonio Citterio worked with Technogym to design the Kinesis Personal system.

It's actually fairly attractive and minimal in size (3.5 sq. meters) since it offers the ability to perform 200 exercises. It's nice to see that someone is thinking of aesthetics in this arena. Available mirrored, in black, cream and gold. This is obviously ridiculously expensive, why not splurge for the "Heritage Gold" version — "the entire thing is hand-covered in 24k gold leaf, using a traditional Florentine gilding process that takes over 60 hours for each machine."(!!!)

Shaw's Original Fir...
and why not have Bisazza gold mosaic glass tile-covered walls ... !
So funny, I was just looking at this on the Bisazza gallery site.
This is really something that should be discussed. With most of us living in tiny spaces it's good to get ideas on how to incorporate workout equip. into our lives. Hey, I'd love to have a Bowflex but the damn thing is the same size as my apt.
Besides some 5 lb. weights and a little stair machine from Sharper Image I have nothing. What does everyone else do?
run in the park. go to the gym. folded up yoga mat under the bed (kitty home base). free weights in the closet (which stay in the closet).
I know an interior decorator with a lovely gracious (but small) one bedroom who keeps her stationary bike in the living room. She's practical like that.
I find that I perform a lot better when motivated by other hard-working people. The home work-out never quite gets going.
I run outside and do push-ups and crunches. There is no room for anything like this in my apartment.
Most people I know with exercise equipment in their apartments, whatever size, don't exercise. Most people I know who exercise go to a gym.
I run outside or in the gym and take classes at the gym.
Am I the only person who thinks those designs look flimsy and take up too much wall space? I'd rather put up art and keep the gym down the street, personally.
Jog outside. Do push-ups (many different types), sit-ups (many types), leg-lifts, squats, stretching, etc. in your living room. You can get a few dumbells when your body weight is not enough.
Surely the point of living in a small apartment is so you can be close to amenities like gyms? If you never want to leave your house, why not move to the burbs?
I can't afford the gym and I have to do phy. therapy for a joint pain so I guess I should leave the city and move to the suburbs, right?
I power walk.
Yes, anne, if you cannot afford the cost of living somewhere you should move.
