Q: I have frozen and refrigerated bacon grease—lots! I was hoping to make suet cakes for birds using it and a little paraffin for the base, and adding birdseed. Does anyone have a recipe or a good experience with such as this?

Editor: Oooh, we're curious to see what our readers have to say on this one! We did find this recipe for homemade suet cakes made with lard, but we imagine you could switch that out for bacon grease.
