Call us crazy (and we know you might), but it seems like the smaller you go at Urban Outfitters, the more durable the item is (with the exception of cheap breakable doodads). The quality of their large-scale furniture is hit or miss, but we've bought home accessories there that have lasted 10 years. Affordable prices make it easy to pick up one or two trendy pieces without breaking the bank, and there's usually something fun that can add a sense of humor to a room. Right now, the store's style is skewing towards mod 60s style...

Love the granny smith apple container -- just wish it wasn't made of plastic.
Maybe cute for someone just starting out. The plastic stuff is a little bit of a turn-off, I wouldn't purchase any of this stuff. I like true authentic vintage stuff, besides for the prices you are better off investing in vintage stick to CL and thrift shops.
I have the orange pod table in my son's nursery. It's easy wipe clean so perfect for in there.
Unless, of course, you live in a town where your CL and thrift stores don't ever have vintage midcentury or mod stuff, thx.
i rather go to ikea on a sunday...during rush hour...and the store is closing in 10mins..than buy homegoods from urban.
sorry
but...i outgrew this in college
110 for that table is too much it's worth about 30 to me, tops. They Do have some very have some nice things that go on sale too because the hipsters don't buy them..its definitely worth checking the sale areas if you are nearby.. I some got nice chairs and tin outdoor lanterns that way, 50-90% off...
And if the hipsters don't want them, then it's REALLY hip. 8^)
(or it might be something that you'd get your lip ring caught on. )
Sorry, couldn't resist. ;^)
