If you haven't checked out the blog The Estate of Things, we urge you to take some time out of your day and settle into it. This blog, written by shopping aficionado Sarah Farrell and DIY enthusiast Betsy Moyer, is chockfull of wonderful ideas, decor inspiration, and--perhaps our favorite aspect--chronicles of home adventures ranging from restoring homes (via Sarah) to finding an apartment in Los Angeles (via Betsy).
Betsy's first experience hunting for an LA apartment certainly had its up and downs that we can all empathize with: the high cost of living, calculating your commute on a potential apartment, figuring out the parking situation, and whether or not you can afford to have a pet with you. As she embarks on her second "season" of apartment hunting--now wiser thanks to her first turn around the apartment search and with a new roommate to cut down on rent--Betsy has been sharing not just the hunt itself, but rental decor ideas as well.
Check out both seasons of the LA Apartment Hunt over at The Estate of Things.

Hi....
I'm really happy to see this post. Thank you Apartment Therapy.
Sarah and I both have really big things going on in our lives right now with my move and her flips and renovations. We are really excited that you guys took notice.
Rosenatti - that video was such a FUN find. Serioulsy hilarious. I can't tell you how many times I watched it. There are some really funny moments. I emailed the original listers to see what the deal is, but they never responded.
Do you think it was for real....??
If so, it was genius, if not - it was still a good laugh.
Thanks again,
Betsy
