Talented interiors and fashion photographer Todd Selby recently celebrated the launch of his second book, Edible Selby, a collaboration with The NYTimes T Magazine about "the most interesting and creative chefs from around the world." We attended the showcase at the super cool headquarters of marketing agency Mother New York.
Joined by his book designer Michael Ian Kaye, a partner at Mother New York, Todd engaged in a lively discussion of the inspirations behind his unique style and his decision to turn his lens and paintbrush towards simple, delicious food.
Written and designed with Todd's creative and quirky sense of style, Edible Selby is a must for any foodie. Complete with stickers, Todd's own watercolor images, hand written notes and, of course, gorgeous photos, the book brilliantly captures the essence and authenticity of each of his culinary subjects.
Edible Selby is a followup to Todd's first book, The Selby Is In Your Place, a similarly styled collection of thirty inspirational and unique interiors from Paris to Tokyo and beyond. Todd is currently writing columns for The NYTimes T Magazine, the Observer magazine and Casa Brutus Japan.
