We were part of a packed house recently as Kyle Schuneman celebrated the launch of his new book "The First Apartment Book. Cool Design for Small Spaces". Alongside his publisher, Aliza Fogelson from Clarkson Potter at Random House, Kyle expressed, "I'm so proud of the book. Not overlooking your life because your living space is temporary is what the book is all about."

Dubbed the "wonder Boy of Design" by HGTV.com, Kyle also recently designed Woolite's pop-up store in NYC's trendy Soho neighborhood. It was the perfect venue to celebrate the launch of his book. Designing everything from the retro wallpaper and symbolic clothes line lighting to the ultra sleek "bubble" lounge, Kyle explained his collaboration with Woolite, "Design is about storytelling. It was a fun experience to tell Woolite's story by taking their product and making it interactive."

Every detail of the event featured aspects of Kyle's book. Even the food and drinks symbolized the different cities Kyle featured in the "The First Apartment Book". We absolutely fell in love with the Southern Bride cocktails and BBQ hors d'oeuvres from Atlanta;)
