How much interest do you have in an International blogger? I live outside of Rome and am just a bullet-train ride away from Milan - where I could cover the furniture shows in person. I would like to know my chances based on my location before I bug my neighbors to let me take pictures inside their homes!! Is Italy a "no-go" or "maybe for the right person" possibility?
International bloggers are absolutely welcome to apply - thanks!
i might have to rep jersey on this...:) *running to get her leica camera for pics*
Please let's find someone from the Deep South, preferably New Orleans. So many creative people here have a trove to offer!
Can we do the sample house post on our own house, so you can see our personal style?
laceylooo,
Yes, it's fine if you choose to feature your own home.
For the love of god, add Phoenix to the list! Anywhere in CA is far too far for us!
Seattle Seattle Seattle!!
Question - Once someone is hired, does he or she receive leads on local homes to feature, or is part of the job finding places to report on? I am a professional photographer and can write well, but I think I would struggle with finding homes to feature.
definitely need deep south representation!
Dallas, Austin, New Orleans, Atlanta, please?
I agree South would be great - another great choice might be the midwest, or north. Chicago doesn't really count as midwest if you ask anyone from Minneapolis to Omaha. :)
My question is, if we don't actually live in a major metro area, we can still apply, maybe choosing to represent an area close to us? Is that a correct assumption?
I think I'll submit on behalf of the South! I live in San Antonio but can cover Austin as well. I think it'd be neat to feature that Southern flare with a kick of spiciness from the Mexican influence. I'm on it!
Do the photos for the House Call need to be photos that we have taken? Or can we use pics from another source? My house (my roommate's house) isn't what you would call, um, cute
Hello,
Im from Denmark can i submit to or is it only the states??
Regards
Lorena from Copenhagen
Get out of here Rainbow2010...Submitted!!
Totally and absolutely on the edge of my seat here! :)
When will we find out who got the job? I want it so badly, the suspense is killing me!
