It has been a long day.... Blogging takes time, and today I didn't have it because the film crew wanted us up and working at 8am. It is good they did. Despite leaving the blog idle all day, we finished clearing out Laurie and Michael's main room just as Laurie started to nose dive into the couch from exhaustion. Above, you can see the empty room, ready for Mark, the painter, who is coming tomorrow, and Laurie about to crash.

In the end we chose a warm color, Pirates Cove, for the walls and Dove White for the bookshelves and trim. All the paint (ceiling, walls) except for the trim I was able to get in a low VOC formula (Benjamin Moore's Pristine line), which means that Laurie and Micheal can move back in on Tuesday night. Most items that we need are on order, but more shopping takes place next week, followed by full installation in two weeks. Everything will be done by the 20th, or I'm fired. MGR
