Apartment Therapy Over Paris

Paris Design Week

Bunked down in Paris for the past few days, Fall is in the air here and so is the house and home design industry. In the streets around Paris, but mainly at Maison & Object, the big twice a year show out at the Parc des Expositions, the world has arrived to show off their best stuff. We have live coverage streaming this week on Facebook, Twitter and on the site, but here are a few pics of the town. Enjoy!

Flying out of the new world, NYC, on Friday night...

Cute! The Maison & Objet poster girl.

Arriving in the old world... Sunset at Notre Dame Saturday eve...

I love the Bon Point flagship store for its interiors...

George Eid's (Krrb.com & Area17.com) parents' in law's apartment on St. Germaine that has been in the family for over 100 years.

Yes, it's a sixth floor walkup...

Sneak shot of the couple sitting next to us at a cafe on Rue Vieille du Temple...

At Maison...

A pop-up exposition at The Louvre... I love the light wood table with twisted iron base by Mickael Dejean.

At Maison...

Mint condition vintage Citroen anyone? :)

Craziest interior design decision ever: floor to ceiling hyper-photographic wallpaper of a messy construction site in the bathrooms at Maison & Objet.

Such simple and delicious food... this is duck and pork pate at La Regalade on St. Honore last night....

On the move...
