Apple A Day and Quilt A Pear Canvasses

Lorena Siminovich for Land of Nod

We saw these fruit canvasses in the latest Land of Nod catalog that landed on our doorstop and they reminded us of a homier riff on the iconic Enzo Mari fruit prints. We were especially pleased to see that they were designed by independent artist Lorena Siminovich of Petit Collage.

Pin it button big

Much of Lorena's work involves collage and these follow in that tradition adding a warmth to the otherwise modern simplicity of these fruit. We like that they're square rather than rectangular which is a small detail, but somehow square things always look interesting on the wall. And though these look to be wooden they are actually printed on canvas which makes them much lighter.

You can find them at Land of Nod for $119.
