Here's a relatively easy hack that lets you repurpose an old floppy drive into an amplifier that you can use in your home.

Jeff Kobi swapped out the guts of a thrifted Apple Floppy Drive and replaced it with the components of an amplifier. He modded it a bit to add controls and outputs, but all-in-all, it's a pretty simple hack that let's you breathe new life into vintage gear.
