There's so much hype whenever modern computing giant Apple is set to make a move in the home tech game. We heard rumors of them patenting a tablet device, then saw that they confirmed a tablet computer to hit shelves soon. Now, there's a commercial in the works. This new gizmo cannot be far...
Apple got to work filming a television commercial on Tuesday for a new—and still very mysterious—device. But we've got some clues:
- The ad was shot at a California 1940's style diner called Jax on the Tracks.
- Restaurant owner Bud Haley told the Sierra Sun, “Apple found us, they’re trying to show us as a hip and cool spot for the 20-something crowd.”
Hmmm.... a tablet device doesn't seem like the kind of product that Apple would only try to market to a young demographic, right? 9 to 5 Mac, where we spotted this story, seems to think that "the location and target demographic most strongly suggests a new iPod ad to us, potentially involving a new model iPod touch."
Whatever it is, we can't wait to find out!
