Nathalie tells us,"Having boys doesn’t mean you need to tread down the pirate, cowboy and superhero party theme path. Think about theme-ing his party around what your child enjoys -- what makes him smile, in my case it was apple pie!"
Travis' party featured apple green cookies, apple lemonade, apple green invitations, toffee apples, and party games like bobbing for apples. And of course for dessert, hot apple pie. Yum!
Thank you sharing, Nathalie!

Nomade Express Slee...
oh my! i love this! we used granny smith apples and magnolia leaves (brown side up) for our wedding, instead of flowers! It turned out simple and beautiful. Just like this party did! Congrats on thinking outside the box.
Love it!
Oh apples - what a beautiful and brilliant idea - a totally love all the green!!! Funnily enough two of my kids have asked for foodie parties in the past year and they turned out really well and a whole lot easier than I anticipated!!!

Where did you find that green w/ white polka dot lantern? I've only seen them in solid colors. That is so cute!
Gorgeous!!
LOVE IT! I'm already tired of doing princess parties for my 5 year old. This is a great idea. Love the colors, the favors, and the number 5 shaped cookies. Thanks for the inspiration!
It's super cute and I really love the styling.
The realist in me, however, is very intrigued to meet the sophisticated 5-year-old boy who would prefer an "apple of my eye" theme for his birthday party over the aforementioned pirates (or cars, etc.) theme.
Cute!!!
Cute! I love all that green. My soon to be five year old wanted a Matterhorn theme (he's a Disneyland fanatic). It's been fun trying to think of decorations and activities (we're going "bobsledding" down some grassy hills). Nice to see another creative five year old ;)
