I'm one of the happy owners of the new iPad and immediately wanted to customize the home and lock screen instead of using the ones provided by Apple. Below are my go-to sources when I'm looking to refresh my tech with new wallpapers.
Granimator: This is one of my favorite apps for the iPad. Granimator is an app collaboration with artists who create wallpapers for the iPad. There are plenty of artist "packs" you can download for free and some that you can purchase as well. I love this app because you can download designs from really great artists and designers like Jennifer Bailey and Stina Persson, but you can style graphics, sounds and shapes however you like. Creating wallpapers with Granimator was a lot of fun.
Insta-Cover: Insta-Cover is an app that lets you aggregate your Instagram photos based on the most popular or most recent photos into a collage to use as your Facebook cover photo. If you're an Instagram junkie like me and love your Insta-Cover collage, you can also make it your iPad wallpaper by saving the photo and applying it as your lock screen or home screen wallpaper.
Paper: Paper is a beautifully designed app that lets you sketch, take notes and create drawings. If you like to draw, this would be a great app to keep your collections of drawings on the iPad - and why not make some of them your wallpaper?
Design Milk Designer Desktops: Jaime Derringer from Design Milk shares designer desktops on her blog. All wallpapers come in sizes fit for a desktop, laptop, iPhone or iPad. We're huge fans of Design Milk and there are always good wallpaper finds on the blog.
