You are cordially invited to what we hope will be a big, boisterous evening in Wicker Park at the always interesting boutique, Hejfina, on Friday evening, April 13th from 6-9 pm. In addition to Heiji and Ali from Hejfina, Heather and I will be joined by fellow Chicago design writers from Prairie Mod, Design Boner and Palla Palla, so there will be plenty of local, blogg-y, design-y talk to go around. In addition to the chatting and cocktails, Helen Maria Nugent, Professor of Interior Architecture and Designed Objects at the SAIC, will speak on Classic Contenders. We think it sounds like the perfect evening to kick off Spring (and your weekend), with new faces, new ideas and lots of like-minds! This is the final week to enter the "Smallest Coolest Contest". This time around AT is running things a little bit differently and taking all submissions BEFORE posting any - but it's been SO QUIET...don't wait until it's too late - the prizes from DWR are amazing and we really love to see all the good stuff that's out there. This is AT:Chicago's first time in the Smallest Coolest Contest, and we hope to see lots of excellent entries from our part of the world (remember, a midwest entry WON the color contest!), so if you are living small (under 650 square feet) and cool, we want to hear from you. Details are here, don't be shy! (Photo: Hejfina )
