While we struggled to say something nice about the last issue of AD, We were tickled pink (or red?) when the AD Hollywood at Home issue showed up with Audrey Hepburn on the cover. The magazine is filled with wonderful old Hollywood images. It is always a shock to see how regular some of our movie heroes lived. Joan Fontaine and Jack Lemmon look about as regular as you can be. Thank god for Carol Lombard, who really knew how to live like royalty...talk about your love of fringe piping!

I am curious if I can find out a small and obscure piece of information from one of the Carole Lombard pictures. On page 200/201 she is reclining and wearing a large garnet ring on her left ring finger. A friend just recieved a gift that looks exactly like this ring and it is an estate ring. Would anyone know how to go about checking into what happened with her estate or is there an inventory available?
Thanks,
