Just before Elizabeth Taylor's death earlier this year, Architectural Digest photographed the star's Bel-Air estate for their July issue. Editor in Chief Margaret Russell previewed the upcoming story on the "Today" Show, saying, "We had spoken about shooting her house, and it's the first time she'd ever allowed anyone to do so." During the planning of the shoot, Elizabeth Taylor went into the hospital and, sadly, never saw the final photographs. Click below for a link to the "Today" Show video and more daily design news.
