Architecture: The Green-Eyed Parking Garage

As a car, I could be happy here. Surrounded by 599 of my closest friends, protected from the elements, rocking my disco-numbered parking spot and enjoying the view of the Saint Jean-de-la Vigne abbey through an 'eye' in the vertical timber slats cladding my concrete home in the urban cityscape.

Delicate greenery will eventually frame my view to the outside, but inside, my friends and I will engage in a little Eames-inspired game of "memory" and use the atmospheric signage to find our way back to our designated spots. Oh yeah, I could be happy here…
