Workstations are always a problem. It's not easy to get the right one. A work place is also always a work in progress. It's not easy to get everything right. There is always room for improvement. I've had a lot of different workplaces and sometimes the simplest ones are the best ones. We think that simple, minimal and elegant looking office furniture is the way to go to keep the office a good place to work.

Arco has just released a collection of office furniture designed by Dutchman Bertjan Pot. The thin and solid table uses steel construction and features layers of wood. There are magnets that enable you to attach a number of functional accessories. Therefore, everything can be moved around the desk. The office also includes a skinny chair that ties everything together. It was showcased at the IMM Cologne Fair 2009.

The advantage of such a design is that the desk can look clean and well kept, while everything that looks like clutter can be swept away, making space for paperwork and office work, while still being functional enough for keyboards and mice. We think that this office set would work really well in most offices, as well as your home office, if you are looking for something classy and well designed. [via Designboom]
